Knowledge and wisdom may spring up fresh and green from the Holy City of the Heart

The Founder

Dr. Wolfgang A. Klebel – The Founder

Wolfgang A. Klebel, PhD, was born in Vienna, Austria, shortly before the outbreak of World War II. From an early age, his path was shaped by significant historical events and a deep connection to his cultural roots.

Pursuing a calling in the Catholic faith, Dr. Klebel became a Catholic priest. He dedicated himself to rigorous theological and philosophical studies at some of the most prestigious Catholic universities in Rome and Austria, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors.

Although Dr. Klebel was committed to the priesthood, he ultimately chose to pursue a different path. Upon relocating to California, United States, he established himself as a psychologist with expertise in treating mental health conditions, notably posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and Dissociative Identity Disorder. Dr. Klebel was employed at the Women’s State Prison, where he provided specialized psychological services.

Special Focus Areas

Building stronger family connections and healthier patterns for children and adolescents.

Children and teens face unique challenges as they grow, from academic pressure to identity struggles and peer relationships. Our child and adolescent specialists use age-appropriate techniques to support emotional development, resilience, and confidence. We also provide family therapy to strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and create healthier patterns within the home, ensuring that every family member feels understood and supported.

Guiding individuals through loss, abuse, and past trauma with compassionate, step-by-step support.

Experiences of abuse, loss, or sudden change can leave lasting wounds. Our grief and trauma recovery services help clients process these painful experiences while developing coping skills for moving forward. Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, childhood abuse, or a life-altering event, we guide clients through healing at their own pace with compassion and understanding.

Helping clients overcome destructive patterns and regain control of their lives.

Addiction and destructive behaviors can take control of one’s life, relationships, and future. Our therapy programs focus on breaking harmful cycles while building healthier habits and coping strategies. We address both the psychological roots of addiction and the daily challenges of recovery, offering a path toward healing, self-control, and long-term resilience.

Teaching tools to manage frustration and develop healthier responses to life’s challenges.

Unchecked anger and emotional outbursts can strain relationships and affect personal well-being. Through therapy, clients learn to recognize triggers, understand their emotions, and develop healthier ways to express themselves. Our goal is to help clients replace frustration with clarity, patience, and communication skills that strengthen both personal and professional relationships.
